Official Avoyelles Record Contacts

The Avoyelles Parish Sheriff's Office is the starting point for parish detention and sheriff-created records. Its administration is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., except holidays. The Criminal Investigations Unit maintains APSO incident and offense reports, but no separate booking-photo line or published photo fee was found.

Main and non-emergency: (318) 253-4000

Records route: APSO Criminal Investigations Unit

Use the office that owns the record. These routes prevent a current custody question from being sent to a news publisher or a court question from being sent to the jail.

  • For a booking summary, photo request, roster check, or past APSO report, start with the county records and custody hub.
  • For an active-warrant concern or wanted-page status, use the safe contacts on Most Wanted.
  • For a plea, dismissal, conviction, or other outcome, contact the Avoyelles Parish Clerk of Court at (318) 253-7523.
  • For state prison or Louisiana supervision, use the Louisiana DOC instructions and LA VINE locator.
  • For a city incident report, contact Marksville, Bunkie, or Cottonport through its official municipal route.
  • For federal sentenced custody use BOP; for immigration detention use ICE. Neither is a parish booking source.
